Sharjah:  Expo Centre Sharjah has joined forces with Education Scenario International, a Pakistan-based organization, to significantly increase participation from Pakistani universities, colleges, and educational institutes in the upcoming edition of the International Education Show (IES) 2024.

The IES, organized by Expo Sharjah with the backing of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), serves as a vital platform for educational institutions and professionals to connect directly with students and parents. It showcases a vast array of educational programs and services, attracting a large number of visitors and educational providers from all over the world each year.

An agreement was signed to facilitate Pakistani participation

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, and Professor Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Advisor to Education Scenario International. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Sultan Mohammed Shattaf Al Amrani, Commercial Director of Expo Sharjah, along with other high-ranking officials.

Under the terms of the agreement, Education Scenario International will be responsible for providing the necessary support to Pakistani educational institutions, making it easier for them to participate in the IES 2024.

Boosting international partnerships 

Commenting on the agreement, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa stressed that this partnership aligns perfectly with Expo Sharjah's strategy to solidify international collaborations and expand its event portfolio. He highlighted their commitment to attracting a wider range of participants to their specialized international exhibitions, including educational shows.

Al Midfa emphasized Sharjah's position as a leading destination for exhibitions, pointing out that the last edition of the International Education Show witnessed participation from around 100 universities and educational institutions from both the UAE and abroad. This year, the focus is on extending the show's reach within the Pakistani market.

Bringing opportunities to students

This expansion aims to create a space where academic institutions can connect directly with students and parents. It will facilitate students in exploring a variety of educational opportunities by providing them with access to educational programs and scholarships that align with their interests and aspirations. The IES will also offer valuable insights into admission requirements at top universities and shed light on the most sought-after specializations in the job market.

Leveraging experience 

Professor Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, representing Education Scenario International, highlighted their vast experience in the Pakistani market, particularly in the field of educational consulting and marketing. This expertise strengthens the potential for effectively promoting the exhibition.
